We Have the Mission.
Arby’s thrives on giving back to the community – on both local and national levels. Here’s an overview of the organizations we feel strongly about.
The Madonna School
Madonna School and Community-Based Services is “an educational organization founded
on the Christian principles of the value, worth and dignity of every individual.” With a focus on youth and adult individuals with cognitive and other developmental disorders, Madonna School helps every person become as independent as possible. We also want to see every individual shine and be their best, most confident selves, no matter their level of mental ability.
That’s why we volunteer extra time, resources and monetary assistance via two annual Madonna School events in Omaha: The Celebration Gala and the Madonna School Golf Classic, which is now in its 15th year! We’re a primary sponsor for the golf event, which raises funds ($130,000 per year on average) for those who utilize the services provided at Madonna School.
Heartland Family Service
Founded in 1875, the mission of Heartland Family Service is to “strengthen individuals and families in our community through education, counseling, and support services.”
We are proud to help their efforts by providing food services at local events and monetary donations to more than 15 locations in east central Nebraska and southwest Iowa. This affects more than 35,000 individuals in the Heartland!
No Kid Hungry
One out of six kids in the U.S. doesn’t get the food they need. This startling fact is why we’re particularly invested in giving to No Kid Hungry and helping to end childhood hunger.
Year-round, our local Arby’s Panda stores sponsor free kids meals for children who are signed up with the program. Our stores provide a safe place for kids to relax and enjoy a free meal.
The Arby’s Foundation – a national foundation that’s the charitable arm of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. – partners with No Kid Hungry through multiple initiatives including Dine Out for No Kid Hungry, Share Our Strength’s Center for Best Practices and local community investment grants.
